An urgent press conference has been announced, but MIN HEEJIN, the former representative of ADOR, had previously indicated she would not attend: will she finally make a surprise appearance?
On January 28, a press conference regarding MIN HEEJIN, the former representative of ADOR, and the alleged “NewJeans tampering” will be held in a building in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Previously, on the 27th, Kim Seon Woong, lawyer from the law firm JIAM representing MIN HEEJIN, had announced that a public press conference would take place.
The legal representatives explained that this press conference was organized to convey the truth regarding the so-called “NewJeans tampering” case, in connection with ADOR’s damages lawsuit against MIN HEEJIN, as well as the contract terminations and damages lawsuits ADOR filed against certain members of NEWJEANS.
Initially, it had been announced that MIN HEEJIN would not participate in the event, but the lawyers updated their statement, specifying: “The press conference was initially planned for the 29th, but during the venue booking, it was moved up to the 28th. Therefore, coordination of MIN HEEJIN’s schedule is underway and her participation has not yet been decided.” This announcement therefore opened the possibility of her presence.
Attention is particularly focused on the content of this conference. It comes as NEWJEANS members HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI have resumed activities at ADOR, while MINJI is discussing a possible return. DANIELLE has been excluded from ADOR. As the future of NEWJEANS, whether it will become “SamJinS” or “SaJinS”, remains uncertain, all eyes are on any new statements regarding the tampering allegations.
Previously, NEWJEANS had announced that all members were returning to ADOR, but ADOR confirmed the contract termination of DANIELLE. After founding her new agency OOAK, MIN HEEJIN has continued her career.
