On January 28, ROSÉ appeared on the popular American podcast “Call Her Daddy” and shared several anecdotes, including one about her confidential romantic relationship.
Regarding public romantic relationships, she said: “It’s related to wanting to protect the person you love. It hurts to see the person you love being attacked.”
She added: “I’m fine. I’m someone who receives public attention and it’s my job, I don’t have a choice. I could feel comfortable with a public relationship if I could fully trust that the media protects me, but for now, I don’t know if I can feel safe.”
About her precautions during meetings, she explained: “I thought people absolutely shouldn’t notice us. I bought wigs from online shopping sites, studied how older women dress, and disguised myself as a grandmother for the dates. I lived like that for about six months.”
When asked if she is currently in a relationship, ROSÉ replied: “I get tense whenever I’m asked this kind of question. The first thing that comes to mind is what articles will come out of it. I’m afraid my life will be defined by a yes or a no.”
