NCT - DOYOUNG
Member of the group NCT, DOYOUNG, donated 100 million won (approximately 60,000 euros) to support the youth independence preparation program on the occasion of his birthday, announced the international relief and development NGO WORLD VISION on January 30.
DOYOUNG took this initiative out of empathy for youth preparing for independence, who need support even after leaving protective care, wishing to help provide them with a solid foundation to lead independent lives.
WORLD VISION plans to use the donation to assist 21 youths preparing for independence, in partnership with 13 national centers specializing in independence support, financing housing and emergency living expenses to help them maintain a stable daily life and build their foundation for self-reliance.
DOYOUNG stated:
“I want to provide a small help to all those who dream. I too will always continue, unchanged, to dream endlessly.”
Last October, DOYOUNG had already donated 100 million won via WORLD VISION for the construction of a school in Bugondo village, Uganda, thus contributing to creating a safe and comfortable educational space for children facing difficult learning conditions.
