The group FTISLAND continues its journey with FNC ENTERTAINMENT by renewing its contract, thus marking 20 years of continuous collaboration.
On January 29, FNC ENTERTAINMENT stated:
“Based on the deep trust and mutual faith accumulated over the years with FTISLAND, the founding artist of FNC ENTERTAINMENT and a group that led the Korean wave of rock bands, we have concluded a contract renewal,” adding: “As FNC ENTERTAINMENT approaches its 20th anniversary in 2026, it is particularly meaningful to continue this collaboration with FTISLAND, who built the company’s growth and history together with us.”
FTISLAND, which debuted in 2007, led the popularization of band music by releasing numerous hit songs such as “사랑앓이 (Love sick)”, “천둥 (Thunder)”, “너 올 때까지 (Until you come back)”, “사랑후애 (After love)”, “바래 (I hope)”, “사랑사랑사랑 (Love love love)”, and “지독하게 (Severely)”. The group not only successfully made its official debut in the major Japanese market by simultaneously topping the Oricon chart, but also expanded its stages through overseas tours, thereby solidifying its position as an iconic K-pop group.
Last year in particular, through the project “에프티스티네이션 (FTestination)” reflecting the musical direction and goals the group wishes to pursue, FTISLAND successively released digital singles with diverse sensibilities, once again proving its presence as a group “in constant evolution,” relentlessly continuing its challenges and musical growth.
Meanwhile, FTISLAND has headlined numerous major domestic music festivals, receiving praise for its solid live performances and strong stage presence. The group also continues to receive regular invitations to university festivals, demonstrating great popularity and influence that transcends generations.
In addition to group activities, the members simultaneously pursue solo careers in various fields such as acting, musical theater, and entertainment programs, continuously developing their respective personalities and skills. They continue all-around activities, both collectively and individually, without neglecting either group synergy or personal growth.
In this context, FNC ENTERTAINMENT plans to form a team dedicated exclusively to FTISLAND and to provide unwavering support for their future activities through more systematic and close management.
