The group LE SSERAFIM grabbed global attention by unveiling previews of its new single.
On the night of October 17 at midnight KST, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) released on the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel and SOURCE MUSIC’s official social media two versions of the sampler for its first single “SPAGHETTI”, titled “SAMPLER PLATTER”. Both videos depict the five members as 3D characters and show impossible events in reality, sparking curiosity. The blend of original visuals and catchy rhythms signals a unique musical style for LE SSERAFIM.
The first track belongs to the alternative funk pop genre. A sophisticated and addictive beat immediately captures attention. The video begins with spaghetti spinning in a drum washing machine. Next, characters dressed in long pink skirts or green dresses appear, matching the visual concept “WEIRD GARLIC” revealed on October 15. The melody gradually intensifies and the machine explodes, scattering sauce everywhere.
The second track features a disco pop rhythm. Again, characters representing LE SSERAFIM are present. With orange-dyed hair and intense smoky makeup, they reflect the “CHEEKY NEON PEPPER” concept presented on October 13. As the characters pass by, gravity disappears, spaghetti sauce jars burst, and kitchen utensils float.
These two captivating songs, twisted like spaghetti, are part of the single “SPAGHETTI”, set to release on October 24 at 1 PM KST. The same day at 10 PM KST, the five members will appear on the special program “SPAGHETTI, JIGU REUL GAMDA” broadcast on Mnet and the M2 YouTube channel. This show was specially created to celebrate LE SSERAFIM’s comeback and is inspired by the idea of establishing a “World Spaghetti Day.” The program will also feature comedian Eom Ji Hoon and chef Kwon Sung Jun, winner of the “Le choc des toques” competition and an active member of Napoli Mafia.
