In Paris for a sold-out concert, SF9 wins the “Love race” with flying colours.

Six years after the “EUROPE LIVE TOUR [UNLIMITED]” and its concert at the Casino de Paris in May 2019, SF9 made its comeback to the French capital as a quintet. As part of the “LOVE DAWN 2025 SF9 LIVE FANTASY #5 IN EUROPE” tour, INSEONG, JAEYOON, CHANI, YOUNGBIN, and HWIYOUNG reunited with FANTASY (fandom name) on October 17th at the Café de la Danse for an electric concert. Invited by STUDIO PAV, KSTATION TV had the honor of attending this long-awaited reunion.
To the cheers of fans, INSEONG, JAEYOON, CHANI, YOUNGBIN, and HWIYOUNG took the stage with “Love race“, the title track from their latest eponymous album, immediately setting the tone for the evening. Buoyed by an already fiery atmosphere, the group continued relentlessly with “Rpm” and “Now or never“, maintaining an explosive energy that got the entire room buzzing.
After a short introduction and a rediscovery of the members of the French cheering songs, the group continued with its iconic tracks “Tear drop“, “Trauma“, and “Cruel love“, revealing a more romantic and sensual side before unveiling the technical choreographies of “Waruru” and “Bibora“.
But SF9 doesn’t stop there! To celebrate the group’s return to Europe, the members have planned solo performances for the FANTASY present at the concert. YOUNGBIN opens the show with his solo track “Someday“. An unreleased performance that won over fans, who had learned the lyrics to sing along. A major surprise that deeply touched the singer, who had no idea that the French fans already knew his song.
Followed by INSEONG and his rock cover of ROSÉ‘s “On the ground“. His powerful and dynamic version literally had the audience jumping, creating a unique atmosphere.
Then the mood changed with JAEYOON and his touching cover of BILLIE EILISH‘s “Birds of a feather“. JAEYOON gave a smooth performance that highlighted the range and richness of his voice.
Finally, HWIYOUNG concluded this interlude with a cover of SOMBR‘s “Back to friends“—a deep and nuanced cover, which perfectly conveyed all the emotional and romantic power of the song.
Back together, SF9 continued with “Just on my way” and “Round and round“, two refreshingly light tracks that instilled a gentle atmosphere in the room. The members quickly ramped up the intensity with “Enough“, then moved on to the iconic “Good guy“, which brought the Café de la Danse to life. Finally, “Love no. 5” concluded the set on a catchy note, its addictive chorus etching itself into the audience’s memory.
Then the group’s members announced their final song of the evening: the eagerly awaited “O sole mio“, which set the room ablaze with passionate chants from the fans. But SF9 wasn’t ready to leave FANTASY just yet. The members returned to the stage for a festive encore of the songs “Mamma mia” and “My fantasia“, and took advantage of these final moments to thank FANTASY for their support and love.
“Thank you, Paris. It’s been six years since we’ve been back. I missed you, and you had so much energy tonight. I can’t promise, and it will be hard, but we’ll come back to Paris.” In French: “Vous allez nous manquer. (We will miss you.)” – INSEONG
“Your energy today was moving. It’s been a long time since we’ve been here. Thank you for this concert. I hope we’ll come back to Paris. We promise to see each other again. Thank you for sharing your energy and warmth until the end.” In French: “Merci beaucoup. (Thank you so much.)” – JAEYOON
« Je me suis énormément amusé grâce à vous, j’espère qu’on se reverra bientôt. » In French: “Merci beaucoup. (Thank you so much.)” – CHANI
“I feel like we’ve gotten closer tonight and I really enjoyed it. I really wanted to have this exchange of energy with you and it was the best evening.” In French: “FANTASY on se revoit, vous allez nous manquer, merci beaucoup. (FANTASY we see you again, we will miss you, thank you very much.)” – YOUNGBIN
“Thanks to you, I’m warm. I love you, thank you for this evening.“- HWIYOUNG

Finally, what we will remember from this concert is SF9‘s members’ good humour and joy at reuniting with their French fans. Their vocal talents and choreographic performances, both as a group and solo, once again demonstrated the breadth of their artistic universe. FANTASY, for their part, responded enthusiastically, offering a warm welcome and constant energy, reinforcing this unique atmosphere of exchange and emotion. Like the members, we are already looking forward to reliving this magical atmosphere and seeing them again very soon in Paris.
Finally, SF9 will conclude its European tour on October 19th at the Palladium in Warsaw, Poland.
