SEUNGRI
The Sino-Cambodian group Prince Group (Prince Holdings), targeted by international sanctions due to its alleged involvement in organized crime in Cambodia, also sees one of its clubs that SEUNGRI reportedly visited being closed.

According to CBS NoCut News on October 21, the pub-club Prince Brewing, supposedly operated by Prince Group, has closed its doors. A new owner is currently preparing its reopening.
This club had been promoted last year by SEUNGRI, who stated: “When I told my acquaintances that I was going to Cambodia, they asked if it wasn’t dangerous, that the country wasn’t prosperous, why go there. I told them they could go take a hike and come here to see what Cambodia really is, the most amazing country in Asia.“
No direct connection between SEUNGRI, Prince Brewing, and Prince Holdings has been confirmed. However, the fact that Prince Group is designated as an international criminal organization raises persistent suspicions among many people.
For reference, SEUNGRI was identified as a key figure in the so-called “Burning Sun” scandal in 2019. He was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on nine charges and was released in February 2023.
In response to rumors about his activities in the entertainment industry in China, SEUNGRI told a media outlet: “It is false to say that I left Korea.” He currently resides in Korea and clarifies that his trips abroad are merely personal vacations.
