MIYEON, a member of I-DLE, captured attention with a “noir” on the edge of breakdown.
CUBE ENTERTAINMENT released, on October 27, via I-DLE’s official social media channels (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua), the second teaser for the pre-release music video “Reno (feat. Colde)” from MIYEON’s second mini-album “MY, LOVER”.
This teaser stands out with a noir western aesthetic. Under a heavy rain, MIYEON conveys an intense psychological state oscillating between obsession and madness, through anxious glances, blood-stained hands, gestures of anger, and a passionate quarrel with her lover, according to the agency.
In the video, rising actor CHA WOOMIN plays the role of MIYEON’s lover. Known for the film “Love untangled” and the dramas “Weak hero class 1“, “Study group“, and “Melo movie“, he draws attention for the chemistry he will share with the singer.
The song “Reno (feat. Colde)” had already generated strong interest through its mood poster, highlighting the narrative and emotional power of the track, as well as the first teaser loaded with a menacing atmosphere.
