The singer CHO YONG PIL will close his national tour with a major concert in Seoul.
Organizer SJ ENT announced on October 27 that ticket sales for the concert “CHO YONG PIL & THE GREAT BIRTH CONCERT” in Seoul will open at 2 p.m. KST. This concert will take place from January 9 to 11, 2026, at the KSPO Dome of Olympic Park.
During this event, the audience will be able to rediscover the iconic songs of CHO YONG PIL, accompanied by the band THE GREAT BIRTH, who have been performing alongside him for over thirty years. On the occasion of his 57th career anniversary, CHO YONG PIL plans a spectacular show, combining musical mastery and grand stage production.
The public’s affection for the “king of songs” remains unwavering. Recently, the special concert “CHO YONG PIL, THIS MOMENT FOREVER“, broadcast on KBS 2TV for the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, recorded a national viewership rating of 15.7% according to Nielsen Korea, the highest among programs aired during the Chuseok holidays.
In gratitude for this support, CHO YONG PIL has added new dates to his tour: December 14 in Busan, December 21 in Daegu, and December 28 in Incheon. Tickets for these additional shows will go on sale on October 27 at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m., respectively.
Furthermore, the tour “CHO YONG PIL & THE GREAT BIRTH CONCERT” will start in December in Busan, then continue to Daegu, Incheon, and Gwangju before concluding in Seoul.
