STRAY KIDS’ SEUNGMIN and IN embody the symbolic weight of the “modern sage” concept.
STRAY KIDS will release its new album “SKZ IT TAPE” with the lead single “Do it” on November 21. Ahead of this release, the group unveiled individual teasers illustrating the reinterpreted “modern sage” concept in STRAY KIDS’ own style. On the afternoon of October 28, photos of SEUNGMIN and IN were published.
The two artists pose amid a grand natural setting of sea, sand, and rocks, exuding a mysterious aura. Dressed entirely in black and displaying expressions of majesty, SEUNGMIN and IN complete this unique visual with symbolic details, such as a white feather placed on their eyebrows and white glitter delicately applied to their cheeks.
This innovative concept, never before explored by STRAY KIDS, has sparked strong enthusiasm among fans, greatly raising anticipation for its comeback. The album will feature two main tracks: “Do it” and “신선놀음” (game of sages). The internal production trio 3RACHA (BANG CHAN, CHANGBIN, and HAN) participated in the creation of all tracks. With “SKZ IT TAPE”, an album in a still undefined genre, the group invites listeners to explore a new dimension of its musical universe.
Recently, STRAY KIDS set a new record on the global streaming platform Spotify: its third studio album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”, released in June 2023, surpassed one billion cumulative streams. It is its fourth album to reach this milestone after “GO生”, “IN生”, and “NOEASY”, further confirming its influence in the global music market.
The new album “SKZ IT TAPE” with the lead single “Do it” will be officially released on November 21 at 2 PM KST, corresponding to 12 AM Eastern Time in the U.S.
