Singer IM CHANG JUNG returns with a cover of “너를 품에 안으면” and shared a meaningful moment with Billy, member of CULT and the original songwriter.
On November 5 at 8 a.m. KST, an interview video of IM CHANG JUNG with Billy, the original writer of “너를 품에 안으면,” was released on IM CHANG JUNG’s official YouTube channel.
Billy recalled, “Back when I was performing, IM CHANG JUNG debuted with ‘이미 나에게로‘ and we often appeared on the same shows,” referring to the year 1995. IM CHANG JUNG also said, “We haven’t communicated much recently, but he’s like a brother to me. His song was one of my favorites. In front of him, I sang ‘너를 품에 안으면‘ a lot.”
When IM CHANG JUNG expressed his gratitude by saying, “I sincerely thank you for allowing the cover of this song,” Billy replied, “On the contrary, it’s an honor for me. I’m so happy this song is being covered and that we can perform a duet, I couldn’t sleep.”
