The fan platform WEVERSE announced on November 6 that it will officially launch its private messaging service WEVERSE DM on QQ MUSIC, the largest Chinese music streaming platform.

WEVERSE DM is a messaging service that allows fans and artists to communicate directly and intimately. Artists such as the groups TOMORROW X TOGETHER, LE SSERAFIM, as well as actors BYUN WOO SEOK and LEE CHAE MIN, are already using this service to interact with their fans. The WEVERSE DM service is available in 14 languages through automatic translation, making it accessible for international fans.
QQ MUSIC, operated by TENCENT MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT (TME), announced the day before on its official Weibo account that it had formed a strategic partnership with WEVERSE for the upcoming launch of WEVERSE DM. The service will be directly integrated into the QQ MUSIC platform as an in-app feature, with the official launch scheduled for November 18.

QQ MUSIC stated: “With the launch of WEVERSE DM, Chinese fans using QQ MUSIC will now be able to communicate more easily and directly with their favorite artists. This collaboration will allow users to enjoy not only music streaming but also a variety of social and interactive features on a single platform.“
Meanwhile, WEVERSE COMPANY said: “By collaborating with a local partner to offer one of our flagship services, direct communication between artists and fans, we significantly improve accessibility for the Chinese audience. We plan to expand local operations to provide an even smoother and more accessible service experience for fans in China.”
