ATEEZ - HONGJOONG
On the occasion of his birthday, November 7, HONGJOONG, leader of ATEEZ, unveiled his very first fashion show titled “Petit Coussin“.
Having shared his passion for fashion with ATINYs (fandom name) since the beginning, and after attending numerous fashion shows, including those by Paul Smith, Jacquemus, and Balmain, HONGJOONG presented his first fashion show with a childhood-themed collection, solidifying his status as a fashion icon.
Named “Petit Coussin“, translated as “small cushion“, in reference to HONGJOONG’s childhood memories of playing in the warehouse of his mother’s children’s clothing store, the project is showcased through a 10-minute video featuring 24 outfits designed and created by HONGJOONG himself.
Worn by young, diverse models, these creations convey a sense of freedom, innocence, and an authentic, genderless approach. The show delicately captures the lightness and purity of childhood, with scenes of children playing in the sand or on a playground, walking barefoot or simply in socks.
The soothing music, also produced by HONGJOONG, combined with the warm, nostalgic atmosphere of the set, immerses viewers in a gentle, memory-filled ambience, evoking childhood moments one wishes to hold onto.
According to HONGJOONG, the outfits will not be sold, but preserved so that ATINYs may one day discover them, leaving fans with a single desire: to explore more of his talent as a fashion designer.
Finally, ATEEZ, which includes HONGJOONG, will perform at the Dream Concert at Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi on November 22.
