New boy group NOWZ made its presence felt at the baseball stadium.
NOWZ attended the second live game of JTBC “최강야구” at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on November 16. The members drew all eyes by enthusiastically cheering for Miyeon of (I-DLE), their senior from the same label, who threw the first pitch of the game between the Breakers and the Unified Seoul High School Baseball Team.
Special commentary singer Lee Chanwon stated: “Recently, while working, I met NOWZ and they are extremely talented juniors. They really have a good personality and know how to greet.” He added: “NOWZ will release an album with a baseball theme at the end of November. The album’s name is ‘PLAY BALL’.” He thus encouraged NOWZ on-screen during the broadcast.
NOWZ will release its third single “PLAY BALL” on November 26, marking the start of its activities. Like the opening signal of a baseball game “Play ball”, NOWZ plans to create a new stepping stone for its growth with this promotion.
Previously, NOWZ had showcased part of the stage for the title track of their new single at the concert “WATERBOMB MACAO 2025”, held on the 8th at the Macau Outdoor Performance Venue. On this approximately one-minute stage, the audience cheered for the high-level performances and sophisticated EDM sound.
Recently, NOWZ has consecutively released concept photos for “PLAY BALL”, announcing a more mature and intense image. The members raised anticipation for the new single by embodying the atmosphere of experienced baseball players, using balls, gloves, and bats as props, and displaying captivating charisma.
The third single of NOWZ, “PLAY BALL”, expected to create a new excitement in the music scene at the end of the year, will be available on November 26 at 6 PM KST on all music platforms.
