TRENDZ kicked off its 2025 second European tour by successfully concluding the “Art To Play” event in Nantes, France.
TRENDZ (Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, ra.L, Eunil, Yechan) departed on November 13 from Incheon International Airport to start their European tour across six countries. The tour began in Nantes, France, and continued to Vienna, Austria; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Helsinki, Finland; Warsaw, Poland; and Athens, Greece.
The tour kicked off with the French pop culture festival “Art To Play”. Held on November 15 and 16, “Art To Play” features games, cosplay, and Kpop, and has become an annual event since its creation in 2011, growing in scale every year. TRENDZ, invited as representatives of Kpop, performed solo stages across two days and participated in various sessions, enhancing the presence of Kpop and the festival atmosphere.
The event attracted 40,000 spectators. TRENDZ interacted closely with fans and visitors during a “Fan Sign Event”, and took part in the “Kpop Random Play Dance”, uniting with the audience through dance and music. As a recognized performance group, they also served as judges for the “Kpop Dance Battle”, showcasing their Kpop idol charisma. TRENDZ’s concerts, about one hour each day, drew over 6,000 spectators in total, presenting the best of Kpop in Nantes.
As a major festival, TRENDZ received extensive media coverage. With Kpop becoming a global trend and the recent rise of the “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” phenomenon, local media conducted numerous interviews. When asked about “the definition of Kpop”, TRENDZ answered: “Kpop is accessible to everyone and can become anything. It’s a genre without limits.”
After successfully completing a ten-country European tour in May, TRENDZ returned four months later for a second European tour covering six countries. The tour began with “Art To Play” in Nantes and will continue to Vienna, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Warsaw, and Athens.
