ORELSAN x FIFTYFIFTY
You may not have known yet: ORELSAN collaborates with the South Korean group FIFTY FIFTY on a track from the soundtrack of his film, as part of the release of his new album “LA FUITE EN AVANT” (November 7). A surprising but above all magnetic alliance.

Orelsan says that his encounter with FIFTY FIFTY was no coincidence:
“We were looking for a feature for the Rokurokubi yokai scene in the film, and, as a sign, Sony Music told me about FIFTY FIFTY while I had the single “Pookie” on repeat.”
He adds that he plays this track “on repeat“, showing how much he admires the group.
The group FIFTY FIFTY, managed by Attrakt, includes KEENA, CHANELLE MOON, YEWON, HANA, and ATHENA. Their style, blending pop, R&B, and dance, has already captivated an international audience, notably thanks to their viral hit “Cupid – twin version”.
The song with Orelsan exudes a cinematic, almost dreamlike atmosphere: the delicate voices of the girls mix with Orelsan’s narrative universe. FIFTY FIFTY expresses its joy in bringing their “emotional touch” to this project, adding “new creative colors” for a global audience. The chemistry is felt in the rhythm, both soft and powerful, and the musicality, a bridge between Kpop and Orelsan’s very French storytelling.
“Throw up your hands ’cause baby you’ve thrown me … You’re torn between reality and fantasy … It became your doom doom doom … ’Cause this is us, this is it”
In the lyrics performed by FIFTY FIFTY, one feels this fusion of emotions: nostalgia, hope, and the epic breath of cinema. Thanks to their contribution, the song goes beyond a simple feature: it becomes a shared moment of intimacy between two artistic worlds.
The latest news from FIFTY FIFTY: the group is preparing a highly anticipated fanmeeting, titled “Welcome to Tweny Party”, on December 5 and 6 in Seoul. In parallel, its mini-album “TOO MUCH PART 1” was released on November 4, marking a new step in its “FIFTY POP” style and international reach, with the girls currently still promoting the track “Eeny meeny miny moe”.
