The group FROMIS_9 will remake the winter classic of KIM MINJONG.
The agency ASND released on November 21 at 9 p.m. KST, on FROMIS_9’s official channel, a teaser video for the digital remake single “하얀 그리움”, scheduled for release on December 2.
In the video, an excerpt of the song “Merry go round” (메리 고 라운드) from their sixth mini-album “FROM OUR 20’S” (프롬 아월 투엔티스), released in June, is played. The sequence ends when someone inserts a cassette labeled “하얀 그리움” into a player.
This digital remake single is a reinterpretation of the 2001 hit “하얀 그리움” by KIM MINJONG, revisited with the emotional style and vocal color unique to FROMIS_9. While maintaining the warm melody and wintery poetry of the original, the arrangement has been modernized to reveal a new charm.
In addition, FROMIS_9 will appear at the “HANTEO MUSIC FESTIVAL” on November 22, before its scheduled return on December 2, to meet its fans.
