KIM TAE RAE, member of the group ZEROBASEONE, covers “회상” by SANULLIM.
The music of the project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the debut of SANULLIM in which KIM TAE RAE participated, “회상”, will be published on July 23 at 6:00 p.m. KST on various online music sites.
“회상” is the title track of SANULLIM’s 8th regular album, “새야 날아”, published in 1982. This cover was completed by adding KIM TAE RAE’s calm vocal to the digital piano, synthesizer, and percussion sounds.
KIM TAE RAE stated: “As “회상” is a masterpiece loved for a long time in the history of Korean popular music, I wanted to fully integrate into it the emotion and lingering impression that the original song has. I made efforts to convey these feelings well with my voice without altering the sensitivity of the original song.”
ZEROBASEONE, to which KIM TAE RAE belongs, was formed through “BOYS PLANET” on Mnet. After completing project activities by finishing the encore concert last March, the group transitioned from the initial 9-member configuration to a 5-member reorganization.
