RIIZE - SHOTARO
SHOTARO of the group RIIZE celebrated his birthday by putting a positive influence into practice.

UNICEF Korea stated on the 25th: “SHOTARO of the group RIIZE (Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, Anton) made a donation of 25 million won (approximately 15,500 euros) on behalf of the fandom of RIIZE, BRIIZE, on the occasion of his birthday on November 25”.
SHOTARO’s contribution will be used to support the health of children living in regions of the world where urgent assistance is needed in the areas of health, nutrition, clean water and hygiene, education, protection, and emergency relief.
SHOTARO stated:
“I wanted to respond to the support of the BRIIZE, so I decided to make a donation for my birthday. I receive so much love that I also want to share love and happiness in many places. Even if it is a small force, I hope it can help someone.”
Jo Mi Jin, Secretary General of UNICEF Korea, stated: “We sincerely thank SHOTARO, who, for his birthday, carried out a meaningful sharing for children around the world”, adding: “The warmth and positive influence conveyed will be a great source of hope and courage for children around the world who are going through difficult days.”
In February 2023, SHOTARO also made a donation to support children and disaster victims affected by the earthquake in Turkey. In addition, since last September, he has participated in the campaign “Unicef Team”, organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the social contribution partnership between UNICEF Korea and SM ENTERTAINMENT, thus spreading a positive influence.
Furthermore, RIIZE, the group to which SHOTARO belongs, released its new single “FAME” on November 24 and began their comeback activities.
