The international popularity of the girl group VVUP now spans from Latin America and the Middle East to Europe.

VVUP (Kim, Paan, Suyeon, Jiyoon) successfully placed three songs from its first mini-album “VVON” on the K-pop chart of iTunes France on December 7 (local time): the title track “Super model” (28th), as well as “4 Life” (26th) and “Giddy boy” (27th).
This achievement is particularly remarkable as it comes after the conclusion of VVON promotions. Additionally, VVUP had already placed five songs on the Mexican K-pop chart, creating a true “domino effect” and gradually consolidating their position as a lasting successful group.
VVUP’s global popularity was not surprising. Upon release, VVON reached the top of the R&B/Soul chart on iTunes in Indonesia and Thailand and also ranked high on the K-pop chart on Apple Music in Brazil and Portugal. The title track “Super model” even reached the top of the Apple Music chart in Qatar, while the music video has amassed nearly 14 million views.
Building on this popularity, VVUP won first place on the Hot Stage of SBS “Inkigayo” with “Super model” on December 7. The Hot Stage honors the team delivering the most spectacular performance, and the ranking is determined 100% by fan votes, further confirming the group’s rising prominence.
The first mini-album VVON combines the words VIVID, VISION, and ON, symbolizing “the moment when the light turns on.” Its pronunciation evokes “Born,” while the spelling “Won” emphasizes birth, awakening, and triumph. Through VVON, VVUP has successfully rebranded in all areas: music, performance, and visuals. The group is now expanding their presence on the global stage in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe, heralding a promising future.
