Singer KIM HEE JAE successfully held his 2025 national tour concert 희열(熙熱) in Ulsan.
KIM HEEJAE met his audience twice on December 20 at 1 PM and 6 PM KST at KBS Ulsan Hall as part of the national tour.
This concert was organized to celebrate the ballad album released in September, “HEE’STORY”, and marked the third stop following the concerts in Seoul and Daejeon. For approximately 135 minutes, KIM HEEJAE delivered performances of his new winter ballads along with a diverse repertoire, offering a complete experience to his audience.
After a dynamic countdown and the screening of a VCR introducing the performance “Heere we go”, KIM HEEJAE stepped onto the stage to open the concert with “Forever with u” and the reinterpretation of “남자답게”.
He exchanged warm greetings with the fans in Ulsan and energized the concert through direct interactions. He then performed “풍악” and “정든 사람아” consecutively, highlighting traditional sounds and igniting the atmosphere.
With dynamic choreography, he presented “따라따라와” and “담담하게”, maintaining the show’s momentum. His cover performances of “여인의 눈물” by Joo Hyunmi and “회룡포” by Kang Minjoo showcased his deep voice and vocal talent.
A medley of idol dance covers from the N generation followed, bringing a lively and cheerful touch with intergenerational songs such as “흐린 기억 속의 그대” (현진영), “Candy” (H.O.T), and “샹하이 로맨스” (Orange Caramel), earning enthusiastic applause.
He also organized a surprise event by taking individual photos with three fans and a group photo, expressing his affection for his audience. He then performed “비나리” and “어느 멋진 날”, creating a warm atmosphere with his gentle voice.
With “짠짠짠” and “사랑아 제발”, KIM HEEJAE deepened the connection with the audience, also introducing the dance team, backing vocalists, and musicians on stage to express his gratitude.
As the concert neared its end, he offered a medley retracing his trot journey, performing “동백아가씨” by Im Jaeja, “아카시아” by Seo Ji-o, and “올래” by Jang Yoonjung in succession, encouraging fans to sing along.
For the finale, he performed a TISCO REMIX medley “고향역”, “남행열차”, “내 나이가 어때서”, and “10분 내로”.
Even after the lights went out, encore requests continued. KIM HEEJAE returned to the stage to sing “별, 그대” and “내가 그대를 많이 아껴요”, offering emotional moments to the audience.
He concluded the concert with the festive medley “희열 NIGHT CLUB”, performing “흔들린 우정”, “빗속의 여인”, “영원한 친구”, and “붉은 노을”, promising to meet fans again for the encore in Seoul.
KIM HEEJAE gained recognition after placing 7th on the TV Chosun program “MISTER TROT” and continues activities as a singer, musical actor, and host. He recently released his first mini-album “HEE’STORY”, achieving great success.
The 2025 national tour 희열(熙熱) will conclude with the encore performance in Seoul at Olympic Hall on January 24.
