ENHYPEN - SUNOO
The group ENHYPEN was rewarded for its commitment.

The group ENHYPEN received the Minister of Foreign Affairs Award. This distinction recognizes their contribution to spreading positive influence through regular donations, acts of kindness, and volunteer activities, as well as promoting a culture of giving not only on an individual level but also within their fandom, thereby expanding the value of sharing.
On December 23, during the “2025 KOREA SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION AWARDS” ceremony held at the Korea Press Center, SUNOO received the Minister of Foreign Affairs Award. The “KOREA SOCIAL CONTRIBUTION AWARDS” are a ceremony aimed at discovering, honoring, and promoting individuals who have contributed to society in various fields, with the goal of creating a healthier and happier society; supported by ten ministries and public institutions, including the Ministries of Education, Health and Welfare, and Foreign Affairs, it celebrated its 20th edition this year.
Present at the ceremony that day, SUNOO stated:
“There are so many people far more remarkable than me, so I feel embarrassed to receive such an important award. I started making donations simply with the desire to help as many people as possible, but I also feel the responsibility to become someone capable of having an even more positive impact on society. I will continue, without ever changing this mindset, to regularly pursue warm sharing.”
SUNOO made donations to Samsung Seoul Hospital on two occasions, last December and again recently. These donations were used to support patients’ medical expenses, the “Patient Happiness Fund,” as well as the operation of psychological and emotional support programs for sick children and adolescents. He also readily provided assistance last March for the reconstruction of regions affected by large forest fires and support for disaster victims.

In particular, following SUNOO’s acts of kindness, a phenomenon dubbed the “ENHYPEN SUNOO CHALLENGE” spread across various social media platforms. This refers to a culture in which ENGENEs (the fandom name) voluntarily make donations inspired by his commitment and certify them on social media, thus creating a virtuous cycle of sharing.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN, of which SUNOO is a member, will release their seventh mini-album “THE SIN : VANISH” on January 16 at 2 PM KST. Through this album, the group will tell the story of vampire lovers who dare to embark on a romantic escape at the heart of anxiety. Through a “concept album” in which tracks, lyrics, and sounds are closely interconnected, they plan to vividly bring to life the unique “dark fantasy” narrative they have built so far.
