The group CLOSE YOUR EYES kicks off the new year with an intense performance.
CLOSE YOUR EYES will perform starting at 11 p.m. KST on December 31 around the giant screen of the Shinsegae main store in Jung-gu, Seoul, during the “2026 Countdown Show-Light Now”.
At this major official New Year’s countdown event, CLOSE YOUR EYES will present the two title tracks from its third mini-album “Blackout”, “X” and “SOB”. “X” is a song expressing the will to move forward, while “SOB” reflects bold confidence, and both have received strong support from fans worldwide.
In particular, CLOSE YOUR EYES will offer a special stage to celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse, performing the cheollik, a traditional costume, in a modernized version. With this original concept, the group will demonstrate their performance mastery and mark the start of the year with intense energy.
The “2026 Countdown Show-Light Now” featuring CLOSE YOUR EYES will also be broadcast live starting at 11 p.m. KST on KBS1 and the KBS YouTube channel.
In addition, CLOSE YOUR EYES will launch its first solo tour “Beyond Your Eyes” in 2026, with the first two concerts on January 31 and February 1 in Seoul. The tour will continue on February 10 and 11 in Tokyo, February 13 in Nagoya, and February 15 in Osaka, allowing the group to meet their international fans.
