ATEEZ wins the main award for Best Album at the 40th Golden Disc Awards.
While the 40th Golden Disc Awards took place on January 10th at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan, ATEEZ won the award for Best Album for its 11th mini-album, “GOLDEN HOUR: PART 2“.
Released in November 2024, ATEEZ set numerous records with this album. The group not only achieved its second number one on the Billboard 200 but also broke its record for first-week album sales in the United States. The album also reached number four on the UK Official Albums Chart and number five on the SNEP chart in France, further demonstrating the group’s global popularity.
During the award ceremony, ATEEZ stated: “We have shared unforgettable moments with ATINY. The magic of our fans has made these moments shine. Thank you for this wonderful award, and we will continue to fill you with joy with amazing music and performances this year.“
But ATEEZ didn’t stop there; the group made its mark on the ceremony with a performance worthy of its reputation. Performing “Ice on my Teeth“, the title track of its award-winning album, the group delivered a masterful performance, blending charisma, stage presence, and vocal prowess.
The group then followed with “In your fantasy“, the title track of its 12th mini-album, offering a fluid and elegant choreography that generated a great deal of enthusiasm. ATEEZ‘s captivating world and the members’ ease on stage held the audience spellbound from beginning to end.
Furthermore, JONGHO drew attention with a moving cover of KIM KWANG SEOK‘s “The days“, showcasing his unique, powerful, and expressive voice.
Finally, ATEEZ will continue its “IN YOUR FANTASY” world tour on January 24th in Taipei, Taiwan.
