V of BTS reveals a new side of himself through a photobook.

V released the photobook “TYPE 非” on January 19. This is his second work, after “TYPE 1” released in 2024. While the previous edition showcased natural and spontaneous moments from his daily life, this new edition captures a “non-fixity” that transcends shapes and genres.
From the design phase, V personally participated in the entire creative process to express his own sensibility. The photobook contains 278 pages and consists of 20 chapters that flow seamlessly as a single stream. Each chapter presents varied concepts and settings, revealing V’s artistic identity, impossible to define in a single category. The deep gaze and emotional atmosphere of the main poster heighten anticipation for this publication.
An offline exhibition titled “V TYPE 非 : ON-SITE IN SEOUL” is also organized to celebrate the photobook release. It includes exhibition areas and media art spaces. Visitors will be able to follow the photobook’s journey and experience the work visually and immersively, as well as see exclusive photos and videos available only on-site. The exhibition will be held from January 20 to February 1 in Seoul at Frieze House Seoul. It is also the first photographic exhibition organized at this venue.
Furthermore, the group BTS, to which V belongs, will release their fifth studio album “ARIRANG” on March 20. This album, addressing the group’s identity, nostalgia, and deep love, includes 14 tracks. Starting in April, BTS will launch a major world tour covering North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. The tour will begin in Goyang, Korea on April 9, 11, and 12, and will continue with a total of 79 concerts in 34 cities. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be added later, further expanding the tour’s reach.
