YG ENTERTAINMENT is launching a “special audition” in order to expand its talent pool for new groups set to succeed BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER.
YG ENTERTAINMENT announced that it will hold the “2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT” from today (the 21st) until the 28th of next month. This audition is drawing particular attention as it is designed so that YANG HYUN SUK, executive chief producer, will take part in the entire evaluation process.
As suggested by the subtitle “GO! DEBUT,” this is not simply about discovering future trainees, but about identifying talents capable of opening the future of the global K-pop market. As YG ENTERTAINMENT has already produced numerous artists active on an international scale, such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, WINNER, IKON, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER, this audition is expected to generate strong interest.
Applications are open until the 28th of next month via the official YG ENTERTAINMENT audition website or the QR code featured on the poster. With no distinction of gender or nationality, anyone born between 2007 and 2015 may apply. Applicants must choose a field in which they excel, singing, rap, dance, visuals, or charisma, and submit a video of under one minute showcasing their potential.
