This is how JONGHWAN, a prominent figure of FAVE1, chose to address his fans to share the big news: he has promised to spend the rest of his life with the person who accompanies and supports him unconditionally. In the message, he describes his future spouse as a warm person, capable of understanding his heart beyond the hustle of his life as an artist.
JONGHWAN’s journey is that of a loyal and persevering artist. He began his career in 2012 as a member of 100% under TOP Media. For nearly a decade, he carried the group with his vocal talent and stage presence, experiencing both moments of success and difficult trials, including the tragic loss of their leader MINWOO in 2018.
After the official disbandment of 100% in 2021, JONGHWAN did not give up on his passion. In 2022, he took a new start with three of his former bandmates (ROCKHYEON, CHANYONG, and HYUKJIN) to form FAVE1. This fresh start allowed fans to continue feeling the rhythm of their voices, primarily on the Japanese stage, where the group successfully rebuilt a strong and dedicated community.
This personal announcement comes as the group’s future remains uncertain. Last December, FAVE1 had announced an indefinite pause of its group activities, giving each member freedom to explore new personal and professional horizons from the beginning of 2026.
