The group BLACKPINK is launching a collaboration project with the National Museum of Korea. It is the first time that a K-pop artist has carried out a large-scale collaboration with this institution.

According to YG ENTERTAINMENT on February 12, BLACKPINK will hold an event at the National Museum of Korea from the 26th of this month to the 8th of next month to celebrate the release of its third mini-album “DEADLINE”. The streaming platform Spotify is participating in the event as a partner.
During the duration of the event, the exterior of the museum will be illuminated with pink lighting. Visitors will also be able to listen to audio guides recorded by the group’s members presenting eight emblematic works of the museum.
A listening session allowing an advance discovery of the new tracks will be held in the area of the King Gwanggaeto stele, located along the route called the “History Path” inside the museum. The early listening, scheduled from the 26th, the day before the release, will be accessible by reservation via Naver starting on the 19th at 20:00. After the official release of the album on the 27th, any visitor will be able to participate during the museum’s opening hours. Some sessions will be reserved for Spotify Premium subscribers.
