Singer LIM SEJUN will release a new single containing the new track “Pray for god” on the 2nd of next month, his agency WAY BETTER announced on February 27.

“Pray for god” is a synthpop song based on an 1980s disco sound. The lyrics tell the story of a self that has grown after going through confusion and decadence. LIM SEJUN directly participated in writing the lyrics, and the music video was directed by FROM20, director of WAY BETTER and video director.
Previously, LIM SEJUN pre-released the new track live at the first label concert of WAY BETTER, “2026 WAY BETTER WORLD TOUR IN SEOUL : GLOBAL WARMING”, which was held last month. On the official social media channels, a concept image highlighting a decadent aesthetic with wound makeup was revealed, raising fans’ curiosity for the new track.
A former member of the group VICTON, LIM SEJUN began his solo career by releasing the single “You’re my summer” in May of last year. This marks his first official release in about 10 months. The agency stated: “LIM SEJUN will prove a deeper inner self and an expanded musical spectrum with a contrasting concept different from the refreshing music of his previous work.”
