JENNIE, member of BLACKPINK, presented a special project to celebrate the first anniversary of the release of “RUBY.”
To mark the first anniversary of her first solo album “RUBY,” JENNIE opened on the 5th at THE HYUNDAI SEOUL the pop-up “A Year in Ruby,” then on the 6th at 2 p.m. she released the special mini-album “RUBY (THE COMPLETE COLLECTION),” thus sharing a meaningful moment with her fans.
The pop-up “A Year in Ruby,” designed to look back on the past year since the release of “RUBY,” offers MD products launched for the album last year, including those never available in Korea and limited editions for the first anniversary. In addition, videos celebrating the first anniversary of the album “RUBY” are displayed on the large screen at THE HYUNDAI SEOUL, and various pop-up related content is present throughout the store.
The pop-up “A Year in Ruby” also exhibits outfits worn by JENNIE during the activities of “RUBY,” such as the Silla gold crown-inspired outfit appearing just after the release of the “ZEN” music video, and the large veil engraved with the first lyrics in hangeul used during the “THE 17TH MELON MUSIC AWARDS (MMA2025),” attracting fans’ attention.
The special mini-album “RUBY (THE COMPLETE COLLECTION)” also includes the remixed versions of “like JENNIE” revealed during year-end ceremonies. It contains the versions “like JENNIE (EXTENDED REMIX)”, “like JENNIE (EDM REMIX)”, as well as JENNIE-only vocal tracks available exclusively on the physical album: “Handlebars (JENNIE ONLY AUDIO)”, “Extral (JENNIE ONLY AUDIO)”, “Love hangover (JENNIE ONLY AUDIO)”, “Damn right (JENNIE ONLY AUDIO)”, offering fans a unique listening experience.
