FIVE O ONE (Kim Hyunjoong, Heo Youngsaeng, Kim Kyujong) writes a new future.
The new album “SET IT OFF” by FIVE O ONE is the first result presented after keeping the promise to reunite again with the fans. Beyond a simple recall of memories, the group’s identity and even more developed musical abilities are contained in a total of seven songs, including the title track “Set it off”, as well as “Fast fast”, “신나는 노래”, “Spin me your smile”, “7Days”, “Flower” and “Last Christmas”.
The title track “Set it off” is a piece combining intense hard techno and rhythmic dance pop, with a sense of speed that seems to never stop throughout the song, allowing one to feel the tension before the explosion and an explosive energy as well as the overwhelming presence unique to FIVE O ONE.
It also includes “Fast fast” which adds mechanical sophistication within a fast and catchy BPM, “신나는 노래” featuring the participation of rocker KIM KYUNGHO, “Spin me your smile” inspired by the hit from the group’s era “Love like this”, “7Days” composed by KIM HYUNJOONG and containing an affectionate feeling for fans, “Flower” an easy listening song, and “Last Christmas” a winter seasonal song, showing both explosive energy and mature sensitivity.
This new album, by looking back on their past, captures in a three-dimensional way the twenty years that have passed and announces a new future, raising expectations of becoming a milestone proving the members’ deepened sensibility and their unchanged presence.
Meanwhile, the new album “SET IT OFF” by FIVE O ONE will be released today (7) at noon and the first stage of the title track of the same name will be presented during the encore concert “SET IT OFF” at KBS ARENA in Seoul at 5 p.m. on the day of release.
