STRAY KIDS - FELIX
Member FELIX of the group STRAY KIDS has become a face symbolizing the friendship between Korea and France.
The French Embassy in Korea announced on March 5, during an official press conference, “We have appointed FELIX of STRAY KIDS and actress JUN JIHYUN as honorary ambassadors of the “140TH ANNIVERSARY OF FRANCE–KOREA DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS”.
From the embassy’s side, it was judged that FELIX’s influence on the global music market as well as his strong recognition in Europe made him the ideal person to expand the cultural connection between the younger generations of the two countries.
Selected as an honorary ambassador, FELIX is expected in the future to attend the main cultural events celebrating the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations in order to promote the significance of exchanges between the two countries. FELIX shared his thoughts by stating:
“This year, various cultural and artistic events are planned in Korea, so I ask for a lot of interest and participation.”*
STRAY KIDS, to which FELIX belongs, has so far achieved unmatched results in France. In 2023, they became the first K-pop artist to perform as a headliner at “LOLLAPALOOZA PARIS”, then in 2025 they gathered 120,000 spectators at the “Stade de France”, the largest local stadium, thus proving the power of their fandom there.
