One Hundred Label has responded to the announcement that nine members of THE BOYZ are seeking to terminate their contracts.

On March 19, One Hundred issued an official statement saying: “Our company entered into these contracts by paying each member a massive signing bonus, under the explicit precondition that all 11 members of THE BOYZ remain united as a team and honor the full duration of their contracts.”
The agency explained: “Last year, following various controversies involving the members, that precondition collapsed, leading to the departure of one member and making normal group activities difficult. Despite this, we made every effort to maintain group activities by persuading partners who had suffered losses and by absorbing a significant deficit ourselves.“
Formally rejecting the termination request, the agency added: “We have maintained the same level of support as before (vehicles, managers, practice rooms) and expressed our willingness to continue providing them normally. However, the members were the first to refuse and are currently ignoring the company’s support.”
Furthermore, the agency emphasized: “Claims that Chairwoman Cha Ga-won misappropriated the security deposits for the members’ housing are completely unfounded, malicious, and patently false.“
Earlier today, members SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, Q, SUNWOO, and ERIC (excluding NEW) announced the termination of their exclusive contracts with One Hundred, citing, among other things, the non-payment of earnings.
Full text of the agency’s official statement:
“Hello, this is One Hundred Label.
We would like to state our position regarding the exclusive contracts between our company and the members of THE BOYZ.
We signed these contracts by paying a substantial signing bonus to each member, based on the premise that all 11 members of THE BOYZ would operate as a single team and respect the contractual period. However, various controversies involving the members last year shattered this principle, resulting in the departure of one member and complicating the group’s normal operations.
Despite this situation, we have worked hard to sustain the group’s activities by convincing aggrieved partners and assuming major financial losses.
Given this context, we cannot accept the contract termination request filed by the members of THE BOYZ, who are ignoring the reality of the situation.
Furthermore, certain details in the article published today by the media outlet The Fact are inaccurate. We wish to clarify that we have maintained standard logistical support (vehicles, managers, studios) and were prepared to provide them as usual, but it was the members who declined our services.
Finally, we wish to inform the public that rumors claiming Chairwoman Cha Ga-won embezzled the security deposits for the members’ dormitories are entirely baseless, malicious, and formally false.
Regarding this matter, we intend to take strong legal action against The Fact.
Thank you.”
