According to PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT, on April 1, “四月的漂流 (April draft)” was first made available this day at midnight (local time, or 1 a.m. on the 1st in Korea) on SODA MUSIC, a music platform under the aegis of DOUYIN. The title can be heard on global music sites such as MELON, YOUTUBE, and SPOTIFY starting from the 2nd.
“四月的漂流 (April draft)” is a bedroom pop genre track that delicately captures the changes in emotions flowing through the seasons. THE8 participated in the writing and composition of this title, displaying an even further expanded musical spectrum. The lyrical melody, the restrained expression, and the lyrics comparing the process of love and breakup to the returning month of April are impressive.
THE8 had previously swept the first place on major Chinese music charts by publishing the digital single “STAR CROSSING NIGHT (feat. gali)”.
