Paldo and hy (formerly Korea Yakult) are launching a new brand called “ARIH” in collaboration with BTS.

The brand name, “ARIH,” is an ancient word meaning “graceful” or “beautiful.” The letter “H” in the name symbolizes balance (Harmony), happiness (Happiness), and daily health (Health). The ARIH project involved BTS starting from the planning stage. The members’ input was integrated into the choice of the name, flavors, and packaging design. The brand concept was also developed based on a shared vision with the artists.
Positioning itself in a new category titled “Modern Balance Food,” ARIH offers three product lines:
-
“Modern Noodle”: A new concept in noodles that allows you to enjoy restaurant-quality meals with ease. The line includes 14 varieties of stir-fried noodles (7 flavors available in both packs and bowls). They replicate the texture of fresh pasta, and the noodle length has been shortened for easier eating with a fork. It features unique flavors blending Korean cuisine with international ingredients, such as “Gochujang-Butter” and “Truffle-Bulgogi.”
-
“Postbiotic Energy Drink”: A “clean” energy drink designed for natural energy delivery, available in 7 variants. It contains four oriental ingredients fermented with lactobacilli and four types of postbiotics. It is guaranteed free of artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners.
-
“Dual Biotic Soda”: A range of 7 refreshing fruit drinks. These products are low in sugar and calories for guilt-free consumption. Thanks to hy’s microbial research technology, each bottle contains both prebiotics and postbiotics.

These products will be available starting April 24 at all Walmart stores and on their online shop in the United States. In South Korea, the launch is scheduled for late May, following consultations with distribution partners.
