The group FORESTELLA is presenting a special exhibition to celebrate its 4th studio album.
According to the agency BEAT INTERACTIVE, FORESTELLA (Bae Doohoon, Kang Hyungho, Cho Mingyu, Ko Woorim) will organize from the 6th to the 17th, for about two weeks, a media art exhibition titled “LEGACY ; SECOND RESONANCE” on the theme of its fourth studio album “THE LEGACY” in 12 universities and national and international public centers.
“LEGACY ; SECOND RESONANCE” will be screened for free on the main campus and the Songdo campus of Yonsei University, at Inha University, Keimyung University, Chungnam National University, Kyung Hee University, the Seocho Youth Center, the Seongbuk Cultural Center, the Songpa Youth Center, KERIS (Korea Education and Research Information Service), the Chungnam Office of Education, as well as the Glam Café in the Philippines, both in Korea and abroad. (Keimyung University will extend the screenings for an additional week until the 24th).
BEAT INTERACTIVE stated: “In this exhibition, FORESTELLA presents media art produced from digital content of the 12 songs from the 4th studio album. The 12 masterpieces that previously appeared in the book version of the physical album “THE LEGACY” are reborn as immersive media content enriched with digital effects through a collaboration with the digital space operation platform company MRAG. As the title highlights ‘resonance,’ it should be a special moment to deeply feel and appreciate FORESTELLA‘s famous songs.”
“THE LEGACY” is an album in which FORESTELLA reinterprets masterpieces of painting and music inherited from the past. FORESTELLA unfolds the album in an audiovisual language through an exhibition where the classical paintings that served as actual inspiration and the music completed on that basis harmonize.
On the other hand, with its 4th studio album “THE LEGACY” released last month, FORESTELLA reached a “career high” by recording its best first-week album sales (counted for one week after release). After passing through Ilsan, the 4th studio album concert tour “THE LEGACY : SYMPHONY” will continue on the 9th and 10th in Seoul, on June 6th and 7th in Incheon, and on July 4th and 5th in Busan.
