On May 11, ROY KIM unveiled via his official social media the music video teaser for “앵콜요청금지 (No more encore)”, one of the tracks from his upcoming cover album titled “다시 불러 봄” (Singing Spring Again).
The teaser begins with the first line, “안돼요” (It’s impossible), accompanied by a soothing piano melody. Despite the brevity of the excerpt, the vocal timbre, both clean and deep, unique to ROY KIM, maximizes the song’s lyrical atmosphere.
The objects appearing in the video also draw attention. A cat, old CDs, and a worn-out chair create an atmosphere that is both warm and melancholy. This vintage visual aesthetic perfectly matches the album’s keyword, “In search of lost romanticism”, leaving a lasting impression.
Previously, ROY KIM had already given a glimpse of the album’s mood by releasing the teaser for “Twenty-five, Twenty-one” on the 8th. With the successive release of the teaser for “앵콜요청금지 (No more encore)”, he clearly defines the identity of this opus centered on the themes of “time” and “memories”.
