KRYSTAL has unveiled the cover and the production team for her second single “PWLT”, which will feature on her career-first solo album, and is beginning pre-orders.
The CD pre-orders for KRYSTAL’s new single “PWLT” will take place from May 15 at 2 p.m. KST until the 21st at midnight in the main online and offline record stores in the country. The sound source will be released on May 26.
“Pwlt” was jointly produced by American producers Pat Howard and Steve Lindsey. Pat Howard is a drummer and producer based in Los Angeles, United States, known for being the producer of Latin pop singer May.
Steve Lindsey is a producer and songwriter who has participated in the music of artists such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and Celine Dion. He is also well known as the producer who discovered Bruno Mars.
For this single, Kuo-hung of the Taiwanese group SUNSET ROLLERCOASTER participated as the guitar session. OH HYUK of the group HYUKOH lent a helping hand as the synthesizer session.
KRYSTAL previously revealed the work process carried out between the “HOUSE OF REFUGE” in Jeju and Taiwan in the second episode of her album production diary “CHARGING CRYSTALS”. The production process of the solo album, including the recording session with Kuo-hung, the album session with Toro y Moi, and choreography practice scenes, was also included there.
A poster of a different version from the one offered during the official release on the 27th will be given to buyers during the pre-order period.
Meanwhile, KRYSTAL appeared in the role of Jeon I-gyeong in the recently finished tvN drama “Mad Concrete Dreams”. She also continues her acting activities by announcing her participation in the Korean-Japanese collaboration film “당신이 들린다”.
