The groups LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE have reunited.
On June 8th, the respective agencies of each group, SOURCE MUSIC, BELIFT LAB, and HYBE X GEPFEN RECORDS, announced: “The digital single “ICONIC BY MISTAKE”, a collaboration between LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT and KATSEYE, will be published on the 12th at 1 p.m.”.
The three groups have already shown an extraordinary chemistry by actively exchanging in the past, notably by filming challenges together on each other’s songs. Expectations are growing around the synergy that will be deployed by these three teams who have pursued a solid friendship.
In parallel with the announcement of their collaboration, a logo animation was unveiled. It is a video that begins with soft feathers and a sound with a peaceful atmosphere. However, the video screen quickly started to shake, the feathers detached, and a phrase with an intense melody, “I’m iconic by mistake”, was heard.
The three groups will appear this upcoming June 11th on the Mnet show “M COUNTDOWN” to reveal their stage for the very first time. The agency stated:
“In order to offer a special pleasure to global fans this summer, we plan to present not only a high-quality performance stage but also varied contents, so we ask for a lot of support”.
These three groups are all deploying formidable performances in the music industry recently. LE SSERAFIM rose to 10th place on the US Billboard 200 with its 2nd regular album “PURE FLOW PART.1” published recently. ILLIT ranked in 26th place on the Billboard 200 with its 4th mini-album “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI”, and its title song ““It’s me”” inscribes its name at the top of the music charts. KATSEYE won 3 victories last May at the American Music Awards (AMA), including New Artist of the Year.
