RED VEVLET
RED VELVET will unveil for the very first time the performance of the title track “Surfin’ boy” from its summer mini-album during its fancon.

The “2026 RED VELVET FANCON ‘A DAY IN RED & VELVET’” will be held over three days, from July 31 to August 2, at Korea University’s Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul. The concert on the final day will be broadcast live simultaneously worldwide via global platforms Beyond LIVE and Weverse so that fans all over the world can also enjoy it.
In particular, with this performance taking place right before RED VELVET‘s full comeback, the first stage presentation of the title track “Surfin’ boy” from its summer mini-album scheduled for August 3 will arouse keen interest from fans.
The new song “Surfin’ boy” is a dance track notable for its refreshing sound and its vocal harmony that is both fresh and dreamy. Written exclusively by member JOY, the lyrics tell the memory of the hottest summer spent with a cherished person while creating brilliant memories anew, thus multiplying the song’s charm.
In addition, the performance also visually sets the stage for the languid atmosphere of summer through harmony with the dancers. In the chorus, during the “Surfin’ boy” part, a key movement borrowed from the Hawaiian hand sign “Shaka” combines with a dance undulating like soft waves, thus maximizing RED VELVET‘s sweet and mature vibe.
Furthermore, on August 3 at 5 PM KST, the day of the release of its summer mini-album “VELVET SUMMER”, RED VELVET will host a countdown live via its YouTube and TikTok accounts, offering a special online meeting with fans who have been waiting for this comeback.
