YOUNGHOON of the group THE BOYZ makes a new start with Namoo Actors.
Namoo Actors stated on August 7: “We have concluded an exclusive contract with YOUNGHOON of THE BOYZ,” adding: “We are delighted to be alongside YOUNGHOON, who possesses infinite potential.”
The agency continued: “We will spare no support so that YOUNGHOON can fully deploy his own skills and charms as an actor.”
Cooperation for the activities of THE BOYZ was also promised. Namoo Actors explained: “We will also actively accompany the activities of THE BOYZ, and we will do our best so that the precious encounters with the fans, who always send great love, can continue without change.”
This exclusive contract of YOUNGHOON attracts even more attention because it is announced right after THE BOYZ decided to pursue its group activities in the form of a 9-member system. Previously, the members of THE BOYZ, SANGYEON, JACOB, YOUNGHOON, HYUNJAE, JUYEON, KEVIN, Q, SUNWOO, and ERIC, finalized a group activity contract and agreed to maintain the team’s activities with 9 members.
THE BOYZ will prepare its group activities in the future under the structure of a new label. For individual activities, they will conclude separate contracts with agencies capable of maximizing their respective skills, and group activities will be conducted in parallel thanks to the cooperation of each company.
Having made his debut in 2017 as a member of THE BOYZ, YOUNGHOON was loved with songs such as “Thrill ride”, “Reveal”, and “Maverick”. On stage, he built a global fandom by taking charge of an axis of the team’s visuals and performances.
He also regularly pursued his acting activities. YOUNGHOON took his first steps as an actor in 2020 playing Lee Kyung Woo in the web-drama “Love revolution”. At the time, he stood out by showing a strong resemblance rate with the character of the original webtoon.
Subsequently, he expanded his scope of action by appearing in “One the Woman” on SBS and “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938” on tvN. Having conducted his activities as an idol and an actor side by side, attention is also focused on the steps of actor YOUNGHOON on the occasion of this exclusive contract.
