The group BIGBANG opens the curtain on its 20th anniversary debut world tour.
YG Entertainment uploaded on August 11 via its official SNS channels the trailer for the world tour commemmorating the 20th anniversary of the group BIGBANG‘s debut (“BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR TRAILER”). This video expresses the traces of the last 20 years of BIGBANG and the upcoming new journey with a majestic scale and symbolic staging, raising the expectations of fans around the world to the highest point.
The trailer begins intensely with a gigantic cosmic explosion that intuitively shows the group’s name. Above the figures of G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG walking in infinite space, the sparks of a spectacular concert venue intersect, visualizing the ambition of a grand journey. In particular, the debut song “La la la” flows as background music throughout the video, touchingly connecting the solid narrative of BIGBANG extending from the starting point in 2006 to the present.
In the second half of the video, cosmoses of yellow light, symbolizing the fandom and the official lightstick, fill the vast space. When the members raise the “XX” card meaning the 20th anniversary, a dazzling light expands to announce the return of the K-pop legend, and the video ends with the passionate shouts of fans for an encore, stimulating curiosity for the tour.
Furthermore, BIGBANG will release its new digital single “BiiiG” on August 19 at 6 p.m. KST. Then, kicking off with the Goyang concert on the 21st, they will embark on a large-scale world tour of more than 33 performances in 19 cities around the world, notably in North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia. Additional host regions are also expected to be revealed sequentially.
