The group PLAVE appeared as the headliner at “YouTube Music Weekend 12.0”, capturing the attention of viewers around the world with varied stages and special segments.

The “YouTube Music Weekend” is a music event where YouTube simultaneously unveils live videos and music videos, a global music festival in which various artists participate beyond nationalities and genres. A total of 113 artist groups participated in this edition, and alongside PLAVE as the headliner were representative artists from Japan such as DECO*27 or the project POKÉMON FEAT. HATSUNE MIKU.
PLAVE took the stage on August 21 under the theme of “PLAVE WAVE FESTIVAL” to offer a rich performance. Dressed in black and white-toned uniforms, PLAVE announced the start of the concert with “Born savage”, presenting an intense performance. After the stage, they communicated with international fans by warmly greeting viewers in fluent Japanese.
Then, the stage for their Japanese debut single took place. Changed into casual outfits, PLAVE showed varied charms by consecutively performing the b-side song “Chroma drift” from the Japanese debut single “かくれんぼ”, then “Rizz” in all-black attire, and up to the title track “かくれんぼ” in a refreshing casual blue outfit.
After the performances, the “Catchphrase PR” segment directly introducing PLAVE‘s charms took place. For 30 seconds, the members freely highlighted their respective charms by showing various poses, songs, and raps, displaying an appearance full of individuality. During the following segment on famous Japanese lines, BAMBI and YEJUN performed iconic lines from the drama “Boys Over Flowers”, NOAH from the drama “The 101st proposition”, EUNHO from the anime “Jujutsu Kaisen”, and HAMIN from the anime “Detective Conan”, adding original fun.
Stages of PLAVE‘s representative songs also continued. The performance of “기다릴게”, dressed in all-white outfits, completed an emotional atmosphere with the night sea in the background, while they added a refreshing charm by performing “여섯 번째 여름” in summer school uniforms. Next, PLAVE, who changed the atmosphere by singing “Way 4 luv” in black and white outfits, pursued an intense performance with the stage of “Dash” in all-black outfits after a short chat.

Afterwards, the members shared their impressions about taking the stage and addressed their thanks to the viewers who followed the performance. The members conveyed: “We thank you for inviting us to such a precious event. We feel like we created great memories with you”, then added: “We hope to cross paths with you again on another great occasion.”
Furthermore, they heightened anticipation for their activities in Japan by announcing that they will hold the “2026 PLAVE WORLD TOUR ‘KEEP IT MANIC’” at PIA ARENA MM in Yokohama on September 26 and 27.
A special stage for international fans also followed. PLAVE offered special enjoyment by performing “好きすぎて滅!” by the Japanese group M!LK in splendid uniform costumes.
Finally, changed into outfits with a warm atmosphere, PLAVE bade their last farewells to the viewers with “그런 것 같아”. Leaving a deep resonance with an emotional stage, they offered a special moment to the viewers.

Having presented varied content ranging from Japanese song stages to special segments and performances of their representative tracks, PLAVE demonstrated a presence worthy of a headliner of “YouTube Music Weekend 12.0”. In particular, PLAVE‘s performance that day recorded the highest number of simultaneous viewers among all artists who participated in the event, proving passionate interest.
Meanwhile, PLAVE will hold a concert at the main stadium of Incheon Munhak Stadium on September 12 and 13, kicking off its first world tour since debut, “2026 PLAVE WORLD TOUR ‘KEEP IT MANIC’”.
