ONEW of the group SHINee presents a new opus in Japan about 1 year after the previous one.

ONEW unveiled the tracklist of his fourth Japanese single “KAKERA -運命のピース-” via his official social media last September 2.
This single includes a total of 5 songs, including the title track “KAKERA -運命のピース-”, 3 new original Japanese songs such as “Tock-Talk” and “Spring rain”, as well as 2 covers: “明日への手紙” (“Letter for tomorrow”) and “エイリアンズ” (“Aliens”).
In particular, ONEW interprets once again with his own sensitivity the songs of artists representing Japan, AOI TESHIMA and KIRINJI. “明日への手紙” is the representative song of AOI TESHIMA, which was also loved as the theme song of the Fuji TV drama “Love that makes you cry”. As KIRINJI’s “エイリアンズ” is also a representative song loved for a long time, attention is focused on how it will be reinterpreted upon meeting ONEW’s voice.
“KAKERA -運命のピース-” is a new opus that ONEW presents locally about 1 year after his second Japanese mini-album “SAKU” published in October of last year. Containing the meaning of “piece of fate”, it conveys the delicate sensitivity and warm comfort characteristic of ONEW.
Ahead of the new opus’s release, the soundtrack and music video for the title track “KAKERA -運命のピース-” will be unveiled in preview next September 9 at 6:00 p.m. KST. Then, the entirety of the single’s songs will be released on September 16 at 6:00 p.m. KST on various music sites.
After his return, he will meet Japanese fans during concerts. ONEW will hold his solo concert “2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE : Q]” in Tokyo next September 22 and 23. As a brand concert highlighting a “live that you can trust and listen to”, it is expected to present stages concentrated on ONEW’s music and voice.
