CL, member of the group 2NE1, is in discussions to sign an exclusive contract with THE BLACK LABEL, headed by producer Teddy.
THE BLACK LABEL’s side stated to StarNews on October 28: “We are in discussions with CL regarding the signing of an exclusive contract.”
CL made her debut in 2009 as a member of the group 2NE1 under YG ENTERTAINMENT (hereinafter YG). 2NE1 received great love by releasing numerous hits such as “Fire”, “I am the best”, and “Come back home”.
Subsequently, CL left YG ENTERTAINMENT in 2019 to found her individual agency Very Cherry and pursued independent musical activities. Attention is focused on whether she will once again share the same roof with Teddy, who had worked with her on 2NE1’s music during the YG ENTERTAINMENT era.
