EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI, who had debuted within the group GFRIEND before changing their team name to VIVIZ, have finally made a fresh start under a new name within a new agency.
After announcing the signing of their contract with their new agency Uncore on October 5, EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI opened new official social media accounts on October 26. Not stopping there, they presented new profile photos via their official social media on the 27th. This is the starting signal for a full resumption of their activities.
In these newly published profile photos, EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI brought smiles to fans with their unique and distinct charms. Their matured appearances and elegant charisma particularly stand out.
EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI made their entrance into the music world in 2015 with the group GFRIEND. Subsequently, after transferring to BPM Entertainment, the three members presented various music and stages as VIVIZ, starting with their 1st mini-album “BEAM OF PRISM” in 2022.
VIVIZ recently went through an inevitable period of inactivity due to suspicions surrounding chairwoman Cha Ga-won of One Hundred, parent company of former agency BPM Entertainment, followed by a legal dispute initiated with the agency. EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI finally appointed a legal representative in April and notified BPM Entertainment of the termination of their exclusive contract. They then obtained a decision of full acceptance from the court in June.
Regarding the group name, agency Uncore, new agency of EUNHA, SINB, and UMJI, stated: “We held discussions with the former agency in order to use the existing team name, but due to differences of opinion on the proposed conditions, we have not yet been able to reach a final agreement”, adding: “Considering a prompt and stable resumption of the three members’ activities as the top priority, we are also considering conducting activities under a new team name.”
