TWICE: A new challenge for NAYEON as a soloist

From the freshness of “POP!” to the intensity of “ABCD”, NAYEON of TWICE has unveiled a new face during each of her solo activities.

This time, she adds boldness to her adorable side. NAYEON is embarking on a new transformation with her third solo album.

NAYEON will release her new single “NA-sty” on November 20 at 2:00 PM KST. Her agency JYP ENTERTAINMENT began the official comeback countdown by unveiling the title of the lead track “Baby angel” and the promotion schedule on November 2 via TWICE’s official social media channels.

The heart of this new installment lies in NAYEON’s unprecedented charm. The single’s name “NA-sty” is a title combining the English word “nasty” with the meanings of “Nayeon’s style” and “like myself”. She added a sincere and bold attitude to the adorable and bright image she built since her activities with TWICE.

NAYEON sought to make changes step by step through her solo activities. In the title track “POP!” of her first mini-album “IM NAYEON” in 2022, she had presented a bubbly energy and dynamic performance, whereas in “ABCD” of her second mini-album “NA” in 2024, she revealed an even bolder side by highlighting powerful choreography and a matured capacity for expression.

The new song “Baby angel” constitutes her third challenge in the continuity of this momentum. While her two previous albums respectively showcased freshness and intensity, this time, she melts opposing charms into one and the same character. The contrast formed by the adorable-style title of the lead track and the provocative name of the single also proves interesting.

The comeback promotion will also unfold progressively. Starting with the trailer film on November 5, the tracklist on the 8th, concept photos on the 10th and 11th, album preview on the 12th, as well as music video teasers on the 17th and 19th will be revealed one after another. In particular, the unreleased content “SCREENSHOT.raw” listed on the schedule for the 18th is sparking the curiosity of fans.
