BOYFRIEND Dong Hyun, Jeong Min, Kwang Min and Minwoo will show their hissent potential while participating to “The Unit“.
The members Dong Hyun, Jeong Min, Kwang Min and Minwoo from BOYFRIEND will participate to the KBS show “The Unit“. BOYFRIEND debuted in 2011 making them a 7year-experienced group who had done various national and international activities. They decided to show what they were worth while participating at “The Unit“.
“The Unit” is a program gathering talented idols, who already debuted, who wants to show their capacities and create the best national unit composed of idols. The views will create their own idol group, taking the best members from each Unit. It was announced that 90 different agencies will send their singers to participate in the program.
In 2011the group BOYFRIEND debuted and throughout powerful, various and sophisticated activities with songs like « I’ll be there (내가 갈게) », « Don’t Touch My Girl (내 여자 손대지마) » or « Janus (야누스) » they received lot of love. Recently, they released their 5th mini album “NEVER END” and promoted the title song “Star” which was composed by the member Jeong Min, showing that BOYFRIEND are full artists.
However it is also said that even though BOYFRIEND is a talented group they didn’t succeed, even though they released a Japanese mini album which reached the first place of Japan’s Tower Record. Nationally speaking, after having their first win in 2014 at « SBS The show », they were reconsidered as a group with a lot of potential.
Through out “The Unit”, BOYFRIEND will show the evolution of their talents. Since the show « The Unit » is a program showing the talent and potential of the participants, BOYFRIEND want to show what they learned during those last 6 years through out powerful, dandy, energetic dance concepts… All of this to be able to receive approbation of the public.
“The Unit” will start on October 28 and will have 14 episodes.
