We have warned of lawsuits against false information, malicious slander, sexual harassment and defamation of our artists. We collected false information, discovered sexual harassment, insults and defamation messages that circulated online and on SNS, through active reporting and self-monitoring, and entered into a contract with the law firm lawyers IL and the Sejong law firm at the Gangnam Police Station on July 4th.
The suspects, who have written malicious articles, through an investigation by an investigative agency, have been identified and some of them have now been indicted for interrogation. All identified suspects should be punished in accordance with the procedure in force and, in addition to criminal sanctions, civil prosecution will be initiated.
In addition, illegally manipulated photos of SHOWNU have recently circulated online and on social media. We will report to the police who released this information, including the first ones, and we will respond immediately and firmly to the law through legal representatives, in violation of the Special Law on the Suppression of Violence. and sexual crimes and the Information and Communication Network Act, seeking civil damages against the crime of disseminating obscene material and the violation of human rights.
In the future, we will continue to make every effort to protect our artists from further harm through ongoing monitoring, and we will continue to pursue strong and uncompromising legal action.
