LEE MIN WOO, of SHINHWA, who was charged with “suspicion of sexual harassment”, was acquitted.
LEE MIN WOO‘s LiveWorks agency said on December 31st on social media that what had been reported in July by the media and broadcasting had recently been closed by “a validation of innocence”. “We are sorry again for what has worried our fans so much,” she added.
LEE MIN WOO was previously charged with sexually abusing two women in their twenties who were seated next to his table while drinking with their entertainment colleagues in a bar in Sinsa-dong on June 29th.
At the time, LiveWorks Company explained that it was an “event” caused by a small misunderstanding that had occurred during an evening with a magazine.
However, the police continued their investigation into the fact that the event was allegedly forced. In July, MIN WOO was sent to the prosecution with a notice of indictment without detention.
